The CCNNM shelter serves women and men, providing a safe and supportive enviornment where individuals and families can rebuild with confidence, resilience and strength.
In Shelter Resident Services
We provide supportive trauma informed services to help residents build safety and stability including:
Advocacy and emotional support
Assistance with Orders of Protection
Resume development and job applications
Housing application support
Personalized safety plan
All Information received is confidential
The shelter consists of a kitchen, living room, computer room, play room, laundry room and pet sanctuary. Residents get their own room with a shared bathroom. Clothes, linens, blankets, and towels are available. Cleaning supplies and groceries are provided by the organization.
Non-Residential Community Services
The Crisis Center of Northern New Mexico offers supportive services to community members who are not stay in shelter, including:
Domestic Violence Counseling
Supervised Visitations
Assistance with Orders of Protection
Safety Planning
Referrals and Community Resources

As proud members of the Supervised Visitation Network, we facilitate court-mandated visits through a trauma-informed lens. Our center provides a neutral, secure, and compassionate environment where families can maintain vital connections, ensuring the safety and emotional well-being of children is at the heart of every interaction.
